Six Things for Loving Our People Well

We’re halfway through our 31 Days to More of God’s Best and Less of the Mess series. And since we’re cramming all of this into the month of October, we’re moving fast and talking in broad strokes, and that’s OK since we have all the time in the world to baby step our way into accepting more of His love, dishing more of His love out, and considering what all of it even means.

This week we’ve been talking about how to love our families well. Families in the sense of the people we live with and do life with on a daily basis. Here are a few things that caught my fancy. You tell us in the comments if there’s anything you’d add.

My friend Renee wrote a great piece on His Most Beautiful Creation. And since I love her and love the post and it ties in perfectly with what we’re talking about this week, let’s kick things off with a visit her way.

Annie Downs, author, blogger, speaker extraordinaire is doing 31 Days of Speaking Love. Including Speak Love Now e-cards for our people.

The hubster and I are currently hanging out in the house of an amazingly hospitable family in South Florida, and it’s just the breath of fresh air we needed plus an awesome example of how we don’t have to leave home to love on others. These beautiful fall mantles on Thrifty Decor Chick are full of all sorts of inspiration for how to make our homes say happy fall to everyone who enters.

Beginner Beans Family Mission Statement is genius.

It Can’t Be All About You on Naptime Diaries sums it up. I read this yesterday and love everything about it.

And lastly Me and My Mama Mouth is another quick good one about the power of our words on the ones we love the most.

Now you tell us, what would you add about loving your people well?
